Ohashi is a city with its head office since “Yamanaka” was founded, and we have a special feeling there. The city is different from the hustle and bustle of Tenjin or Hakata, and our store is conscious of having the customers relax.
The authentic Japanese-style Ohashi Main store has an elegant and calm atmosphere, and is a luxurious space that only uses genuine things. From antique items to modern and stylish items, we put our thoughts into each piece of furniture and furnishings, and there is a quiet time like a tea room or a Japanese-style inn.

Motsunabe

As the birthplace of miso motsunabe, Yamanaka Motsunabe has established the culture of "miso flavor" in motsunabe.
Since its establishment in 1984, the motsunabe has been preserving the traditional taste, with a particular focus on freshness.
Only the small intestines of domestic beef that are free of unpleasant flavors and odors and are moderately fatty are carefully selected, and served in a satisfying size,
it has a rich flavor yet is light, and has been a long-time favorite as a high-quality motsunabe that won't leave you feeling heavy the next morning.
Vegetables are carefully selected from the best growing areas depending on the season, and the balance with the motsunabe and the speed of cooking are calculated,
and the best ingredients are combined to create a unique cooking method that achieves a sweet, rich, and full-bodied flavor.

If you want to fully enjoy the a rich and sweet flavor, we recommend the traditional miso flavor.
The "miso flavor," created through a process of trial and error that began with, Yamanaka's establishment, uses a blend of several types of miso from Kyushu, that gives it a unique and secret flavor with impact while being elegant and not persistent, leaving you feeling like you want to eat it again soon.

If you want to enjoy the quality of the ingredients, we recommend the soy sauce flavor.
The soup has the perfect balance of sweet and spicy taste, blended with light soy sauce as a base, taking into consideration the umami components that seep out from the ingredients.
Shabu-shabu style (one serving)

If you want a light taste, we recommend shabu-shabu.
The soup stock is based on Rishiri kelp and light soy sauce. This is our original motsunabe without red pepper and garlic. Please enjoy ingredients finished in the soup stock full of umami, with our homemade ponzu sauce.
